Beaten the game numerous times, including reaching the Yama room. Still can't achieve consistent results during replays due to the game's reliance on a random number generator rather than a player's skill. The golden key or chest placed behind a shop, making them inaccessible without triggering the Shopkeeper or expending almost all of your bombs. Arrow traps directly in the path or triggered from outside the screen, resulting in unexpected arrow hits. Stun locks, Shopkeepers triggered by snails, altars destroyed by falling saucers (sometimes earning you a ball and chain), a panel at the top left obscuring parts of the ceiling, making spiders unseen. The player sometimes being instantly killed within the first 0.5 seconds at the entrance of an ice cave by a falling saucer struck by a mammoth or something. Have anything of that happen, and puff... 15 minutes of your life are gone wasted. This way the game is not "good," "bad," or "hard" - it seems just "wrong".
