A very cryptic, surprisingly deep, Chinese RPG from the 2000's. If you remember playing this as a kid, then the GOG version is very stable and good to play, so it's worth a purchase. If you're new to the game, it's a CRPG from the early 2000's in the vein of things like Divine Divinity. This was before a lot of QoL and polish people are used to, but that also means there's a lot of unique charm in the game. You'll be lost trying to follow quests, confused as to what the next steps are, and not really sure if the build you're making is going to pan out, but these are the things that make the game fun if the gameplay and story are engaging. And it is fun! Combat is crunchy and satisfying, the maps are fun to explore for quests, the graphics have aged well due to the isometric 2D style, and the story is interesting. The translation is rough but servicable, and the voice acting goes into the "so bad it's funny" category in most cases, but it's absolutely worth your time. Just have a guide handy when you inevitably get lost.
