I purchased this when it was out in the stores. The thing that surprised me the most (and still impresses me) is the historical supplement. As a student of the Medieval Era (well, not professionally...), I found it to be one of the better introductions to late 13th century England around! Who would have expected a mere computer game to care enough about historical accuracy to include one, never mind do a great job at it?
