The Wheel of Time

A charming game

A really nice game from the Unreal 1 and Unreal Tournament era of the late nineties. Here in a beautiful fantasy environment with attention to detail, without being unnecessarily over-complex. The game is, as is typical for this time, nicely linear, and at the same time entertaining and not too difficult. The action is not neglected either, which, in combination with the protagonist's novel narrative and the charming cutscenes, makes for an interesting mix. At this point a thank you to GOG for patching these games here for new operating systems. It's always fun to browse your platform.

Clive Barker's Undying

Like a classic horror novel

A really great atmospheric horror shooter. I had already played it so many times. The old house and the beautiful coastal atmosphere are simply legendary. The horror is sometimes subtle and sometimes action packed. There are many different rooms to explore, as well as caves, old huts, 2 great designed parallel universes and so on. Really very elaborately produced at the time and also aged very well due to the attention to detail. I'm totally happy that the GOG version runs great on Windows 10, because unfortunately my original CD is no longer compatible with Windows 10.
