nice hack and slash RPG with interesting story. Christopher Judge does a great job of Kratos.
I preordered this game based off the 2013 bullets video, i played it for a few hours on release but quickly stopped playing due to the bugs. i picked this game back up again following the Phantom Liberty trailer, and after much discourse on the internet that the majority of the bugs have been fixed. im glad i did its been a few years since a game has had such a big impact on me, amazing quests, memorable characters, and beautiful graphics, this game is amazing and should be played ESPECIALLY since the majority of issues have been fixed by CDPR,
i never liked Point and click adventures, this game changed all of that and made me into a fan of the developer the beautiful pixel art style makes it seem as though its from the early 2000's late 1990's but its much better than that. there are a few annoying logic puzzles but i looked past that because of the amzing visuals, original interesting story, funny and thought out characters and hauntingly blade runner like music Buy this game
I never really played the original shadow warrior but i put a lot of time into Duke Nukem 3D, which has the same engine This game however is a totally different ball game, its either a shooter or slash em up depending how you play (or both) the shooting is the standard fayre for modern FPS, there is a good selection of guns. However the slash em up is where its the sharpest (see what i did there?) as you play more and more you unlock more abilities and sword moves and soon youre a master baddass kitanna wielder. the level design is excellent, the graphics are gorgeous, but become a little repetative in the long levels, the enemies however is where it shines too. each new enemy is introduced as a little boss where you learn techniques to defeat them, before the go on to star as regular mooks. Plus the Demon companion Hoji is funny as shit! you need to get this game for his snide comments and observational comedy
Made by the same people that did the original tomb raider series, i played this originally on PlayStation2 as a co op with my friend. The sci fi landscape and the level by level descent into an old overrun and derelect city trully ramped up the tension as you tried to uncover the mystery behind the game The puzzle elements work very well and the level design is fantastic, the story however feels a little lacking especially the ending (no spoilers) but upto that point i thought it was great. the last level with the giant holodeck is how id like my fallout shelter to be if there was ever a nuclear war
Played the original game on a 486DX machine and it blew me away then aged 11. Ok the game is 23 years old but its still a classic and hard as nails when set to the higher difficulty level, get this game to see where the FPS genre first got popular frantic and fun
