One of the best adventures of the millenium so far. I just replayed it and it has been one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences of my whole life (Except maybe for some weird logical puzzles that I found rather unintuitive but didn`t matter much in the context of an otherwise pretty much flawless game)
I was playing Blackwell Epiphany right before I started Old Skies and it was one of the most memorabel experiences of my gaming experience - Epiphany, that is. As for Old Skies, I don`t know what happened here but despite the high production value that fans of Wadjet Eye have come to appreciate over the years, the writing left me surprisingly cold: very few emotionally intense narrative moments, no plot twists that weren`t telegraphed from a mile away, no gripping character development, and none of that sublet trademark humor, I`ve come to love so much over the years. I don`t know why the quality of the writing deteriorated with this one - maybe it is just me?
