The game will start but then crash after the cinematic completes at the beginning. Sometimes it will start and run but crash while saving. Other times it will just randomly crash. I went to the Gog support page and tried all the things listed there for solving issues. I also tried suggestions listed in the forums. No luck. I see that some people have had success with it on Windows 10 but I don't want to reinstall an older version of Windows just to run the game. I like the game. I played it when released. However, it simply isn't working for me in it's current state on Windows 11.
I bought this game on steam when it first came out. I enjoyed the game up until about half way through the game. At that point I started feeling like I've been here, seen that, done that. Hide under bench, hide in a locker, hide in a box, etc. I like stealth games like Splinter Cell and Thief. This game did not seem anything like them to me. It felt very repetitive after the half way point. The looks very good, the game mechanics are good. However, doing essentially the same thing on every level got old for me. For me the game has no replay value. I played it once and I feel like I have played all I want to. I feel like the stealth approach used in the game would have made a good 3 or 4 levels in another game. However, at current prices, it is not a bad game by any means.
