I wanted a game like this as a way to unwind, enjoy building my city, take in the amazing graphics, listen to the pleasant music... it's really great for all that. It may still be in development but it's definitely going in the right direction. If you're looking for a completed and totally polished game, you might want to wait. But I felt it was worth the price (on sale) as a way to contribute to the further development of this title. I'm astounded at what just one man accomplished. I know he has help now, but still... the ability to zoom in makes you feel like you're part of the town. The animations they do, the background chatter, it's all just top notch. I'm not one for over-complex systems, and the fact I can choose to just build without fighting was, for me, a great way to get into the game and just learn how to move around, get comfortable with all the systems, etc. Then when I feel I have a handle on things, I'll dive into battling. But for a senior like me, a slow start works. Highly recommend.
