TLDR; most enjoyable D&D adapted game I've played...and I've pretty much played everything from the Gold Boxes up to this. The character interactions are what make it so great for me. I felt like there was genuine relationships being built between the characters and they had personalities. I loved the tactical turn based combat - just like a DND game. Story line was well developed although the world is pretty linear in the way you explore it from site to site to solve the main quest. My one gripe is the camera controls. The game is so great that I put up with what felt like a pretty clunky set of manual controls. I much prefer using the mouse in what seems like an industry standard set of controls (like in POE for example). The keyboard QEAD keys didn't really do anything for my enjoyment. As many other reviews have said, visually its not as good as some of its competitors but its not terrible either and tbh I didn't even notice as the game was so good. I cannot wait for the new campaign and multiplayer. I think this game will be very good with a few friends as well.
