It has improved everything respect the last 2 games, and made a sandbox out of it. I HAVE NOT DONE MORE THAN 3 MAIN QUESTS AND I´VE BEEN PLAYING FOR 10 HOURS. Maybe twice to three times as large as the other two combined.
From combact mechanics to alchemy, meditate, drink potions, inventory, the medallion... tis´ a complete tun-over from the previous the witcher game (that I liked a lot). And it is VERY dificult. Beware. (I´m liking this one too :] ).
Everyone told me to just go to The Witcher 3 directly, told me it was "cluncky"(as in old gameplay, bad mecanics, etc...). BUT it is surprisingly dinamic, the alchemy is interesting, and overall I am loving it. I do have mods installed that change textures and makes Geralt move like 16% faster, though it does not change a thing from story nor gameplay. :)
