Baldur's Gate 3

Brillant game

I'm not one to write reviews, but have to after playing such a great game. I snagged this as soon as it went early access. Sure there were bugs, it was expected, but because of the feedback from myself and everyone else, it's morphed into what I consider is a worthy successor to BG2, although that was techically Dragon Age, because, BioWare. Back on topic, the gameplay has been fantasic. It's made me think about how to use my environment and come up with so many different ways to tackle events and objectives. I can't speak for others, but I have had a bug free experience. However, I'm sure that's due to all the other players that play and report their bugs to Larian. It's been only two weeks and there's dozens of fixes pushed thru 4 hot fixes (as of today). On top of that, the developer's been active in communicating with the community and has even announced Patch 1 will have a lot more in store. For those whining and about gameplay collection data, just go to launcher settings and unselect the submit gameplay data. Pretty sure Larian doesn't care about what nefarious things you're up to on your computer, they just want to know if you're game is running smooth. And if you're worried about that you might not want an internet connection in the first place. For me, the story is engaging with a tone that's set it apart from other BG games. This is an open world where if you go chaotic, the story changes, if you go good, the story changes. It's brilliant. Although I'm only part way through Act II, I'm looking forward to the moment I arrive at Baldur's Gate. I've heard great things about that city.
