Fixes many problems with the original game and just as funny.
Vast improvement on X2 (despite the decision to make sectors bigger and ships slower). Nonetheless, buy the Terran War Pack for some more fun.
Good gameplay and adaptability. Oddly, the stuff around the game can be better than the game itself. If you haven't already watched the YouTube videos that add Stronghold sound effects to movies, I recommend them!
Practically everything has improved from the original game. My problem is that you no longer get to go through a maze to find treasure. Instead, dungeons, tombs etc are straightforward battles.
Good game. No plotline can make it feel meaningless, but it also means that the game isn't telling me what to do! One problem is that the game can only display in full screen (as far as I know, but I've checked as far as possible). That means that it's hard to do other things while playing this game!
Good game, plays well. There are sometimes problems with the sound, but maybe it's my computer that's the problem. Maybe it's DOSBOX? I don't hold it against the game though.
Good job at simulating various types of society. Next DLC idea: Vehicles.
