DREDGE

Boatload of Fun

According to the description and the trailer I should not like this game. But I love it. Just bought the DLC and am playing through again.

Drova - Forsaken Kin

Just what I've been wanting

An open world RPG that I can play on my potato! Quests, monsters, mysteries to unravel. I love it.

FATE: Undiscovered Realms

Can't believe I missed this

back in the old days. I used to want a Diablo clone sooo bad and it was there all along.

Starcom: Unknown Space

Really Fun

For me it's just the right pace. Cool little stories everywhere you look with not too punishing combat.

Obduction ®

Modern Classic

If you like this kind of game it is one of the BEST. Even if you think you are totally stuck, just relax. Run around a bit. THINK. So much better than looking up the answer online...you can do it :) Makes me want to play the new Riven. I never could beat it way back then.

ELEX II

Top open world RPG

Just finished - lvl 45, 95 hours. I do everything, pick up every stupid piece of trash, but it pays off in Pirhana Bytes games. When I got heavy weapons my game changed, but those guns are expensive to shoot! If I play through again I will try melee. Elex is Pirhana Bytes evolved. Fantastic world to explore, truly original world and lore concepts, but the jank is real. In it's time Skyrim was the best of the open world rpg's. Then Witcher 3 was top dog. In my mind the Elex series is the reigning champ...for now :) Elder Scrolls 6 is coming, Starfield, Avowed from Obsidian - exciting times my friends! I wish CDPR had gone a different direction that cyberpunk. I have no desire to play that one.

The Forgotten City

Finally, a great adventure game.

The most immersive game I've played since Quern. It's hard to find excellent adventure games any more. This one delivers big. Thank you Modern Storyteller!

Master of Magic - Caster of Magic for Windows

Thank you Slitherine

OH MY GOD!!! I have to look at Slitherine's splash screen to get to my game!! STFU you whiney little vaginas. Slitherine saved this game, and they're making a sequel. They let Seravy sell his awesome mods on top of it. I'm going to buy Caster of Magic for Windows right now just to spite you snivellers. This game is the best 4x ever .

Sacred Gold

One of the best

Divine Divinity, Titan Quest, Diablo 2 - They just don't make them like this any more...except for Underrail. Divine Divinity is still the best :)

UnderRail

Best CRPG yet for me

I really want to get into the old crpgs, but they are just so boring/slow. This game is full of action, interesting dialogue and pretty much open world with tons to do. This game is hard, but very rewarding. It's the kind of game where after you play awhile, you want to play again with a different build. A guy said it crashes all the time on him??? I play this on a laptop potato and it's never crashed, though I did have to go and download some weird windows patch for it to work - it's a 2 second download and it's direct from microsoft. For $15 this is a steal :) The psi update sucks, but if you're on GOG it's super simple to just load up the previous version, which is what I play on.
