Prison Architect

Snake jailbird approves

(based on my steam copy, (GOG I bought it there because of steam's cloud saving capability, take note) What it lacks in polishing tiny details it has for tons of addictive gameplay. Developers paid a great deal of attention to build a terrific sim-tycoon-build-your-own-prison experience. With everything that comes with it. Having your first riot contained gets you proud. Don't be fouled, you'll get beaten just when you think you have everything under control. On the surface you get jokes and fun times. But at the core of prison architect you get a really deep simulation about life in prison. Logistics, accountability, psychology, life support, security, etc... almost every thinkable aspect. And this is all mixed with so funny situations. Just don't try to know about each and all of your inmates too much, you do that and it will hurt more :) Cons, only a little things to work on, I have an ok rig and yet I feel it does not go that smooth (on all high specs only) . More items and better item/area placement logic would be welcome, but I feel this is not only a finished game, is a landmark game that big publishing game companies should take as an example on how to do a great game.

Cognition: Game of the Year Edition

Great detective story, buggy game

A detective adventure point n click game, full of annoying bugs (specially first two chapters), but with a great atmosphere (ok, cartoonish graphics with ok voice acting, superb plot), not so tough puzzles with the interesting twist of a psy-detective with a complicated past. Sometimes cheesy but story really caught me up, I kept coming for more. +16 hours of gameplay. As with almost every game in this genre, really low replayability.
