I have owned versions of this game for years now, and it is SO GREAT to own a copy through GOG. It is still very smooth, and while I've never played D&D on a tabletop, this game really gives me the feel of it.

The Gunk is good fun, although it did make my clunky old rig chug at certain points. It's a good looking game (for one called The Gunk), and it's a fairly straightforward adventure that won't wreck you while you're playing. Imagine a cozy adventure with more slime. Some folks are complaining about the voice acting, but I had no problem with it (other than having to read the alien NPC dialog, since your "translator" doesn't actually convert the speech to English). Overall, I played it for about 8 hours (I'm a little slow) and had a good time from start to finish. Give it a shot, especially if it's on sale!
