Maybe I did something wrong or did not understand the genre it was labeled as but this has no role-playing or adventure, there are no choices, there is pressing the space bar over and over and over and over and over and over. I gave an honest 40 minutes of reading cringe worthy text and pressing the space bar until I realized my time is worth way more than what I paid for this "game". Sorry for those who enjoy this type of "game" but it is not a game and is less a game than even a free cookie clicker mobile game, because at least there is advancement and achievement.
Game brought me back to the fun I had with diablo 1 + 2, great controls and the sound/visuals are great. I found it easy to put 30 hours into achievement hunting with each character without getting bored. Only complaint is lack of multi-player or co-op mode but that was fixed with torchlight 2.
Picked this up on sale and is well worth 4.99 but $10 is pushing the game play value. As others reviews will state you get around 3 hours of game time (4 if you try to find all items), but a really great time while playing it. Game runs @1920x1080 smoothly on my gtx 460 so not sure why some reviewers complain about performance. hoping for more episodes.
