A niche game, because it was made by small Polish studio and year later HoMM III rightfully dominated market. Its a weird mix between Warlords II (1993) and HoMM II (1996), with worst from both games. Just go play HoMM or Warlords instead. Unless you happen to be one of twelve players that enjoyed it in childhood. Then feed your nostalgy a bit, get irritated at all the issues, then go play HoMM or Warlords instead. Because it got loots of issues in game design, which quickly can turn playing into suffering once you experienced more polished games.
