Indiana Jones® and the Emperor's Tomb™

It didn't age well

Might've been ok back in 2003, but today it's just too clunky. Just grab game pass and the Great Circle.

SKALD: Against the Black Priory

Not really an RPG

The choices you make don't really matter. The story is grim, brutal and is reason enough to explore every single place in the game to the last spot in order not to miss a single piece of macabre pixel art.

Master of Magic - Caster of Magic for Windows

Just ignore the stupid people

who whine about this addon being a scam. It's not, I believe the DOS version was updated to an extent where it just wasn't possible to make it any better and add new features and redesigns. This "DLC" feels like a completely different game, with rebalanced building orders, units and spells. And this "DLC" also supports MODs, and there's one that blew me away "Caster of Magic for Windows: Warlord". It rebalances all the legacy units, spells and retorts and adds 4 new races, which aren't just a bunch of units with different stats, but feel absolutely unique and play nothing like any of the original races. So in total we've got like 5 different games here : 1. The original (DOS) 2. The original with community patch (DOS) 3. Caster of magic (DOS) 4. Caster of Magic for Windows 5. Caster of Magic for Windows: Warlord (free MOD) All of these might look the same, but every single one of them has it's own unique flavor.

HROT

They were also blessed

with an egg catcher and a GOAT! I sincerely enjoy destroying that part of my childhood. Too bad, it never died for real.

Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition

Another meh from Larian

Another waste of my time, spending about 30 hours tolerating annoying dialogues and voice acting, characters I don't care about idiotic story which starts with murder investigation and an absolutely amazing + 5% damage progression on items every level to get nowhere, that is a lol of a game design, lol? At a certain point you're just forced to go find certain amount of items that will allow you to open a stupid door which laughs at you saying haha no, you can't finish the game, you have to track back and remember every moronic character you've met along your path. I've been checking out the whole backlog of larian releases which lead to a brilliant BG3, where is that point where they came even close to their magnum opus??? I'm afraid of wasting my time on DOS2 :)

Indiana Jones® and the Infernal Machine™

It did not age well at all

Just ignore this game, unless it really hold some nostalgic value for you. The controls are so bad it hurts. No mouse control in a 3d game in 99 is a joke, the animations, controls and the general flow of the game are clumsy and clunky at best, annoying at worst. You have to face the fall exaxtly 90 degrees and dead close to it to grab the edge, usually takes 1-3 attempts to grab the stupud thing. Same goes for ladders, dead close, 90 degrees. Honestly I wouldn't play it even when it was released. And the Indy doesn't look or sound anything like Harrison Ford at all.

Fallout: London

Unprepared for

Frigging 3 weeks to complete instead of 3 expected days. It's almost too big for it's own good, too much fedex at the start almost made me to uninstall it. But I'm a sucker for some fancy English and good voice acting, the premise of the story is pretty cool and kind of forced me to complete the game. It's not flawless, the story feels as several poorly connected big DLCs. Slow loading times make the "Long Loading Times Fix" a mandatory. Some crashes can be prevented by restarting the game every 1-2 hours. Some glitches are show stoppers, be prepared to look for console commands to progress in the game. Despite all the problems, I've still thoroughly enjoyed this game of a mod.

Divinity 2: Developer's Cut

So mediocre

I've wasted 20 hours of my life to just check out the stupid dragon form for half and hour, to only find out how bloody bad it is. You can't kill regular enemies, when you change into dragon they just vanish lol. Drakan which was released 10 years earlier allowed you to do it, and it was so satisfying, you could burn the enemies while flying, you could massacre while riding the dragon on the ground. This game doesn't allow that. On top of that dragon physics suck it feels nothing like dragon. And top that with crappy battle system which is basically their very first game reskinned into 3d. Avoid this, this game is utter garbage.

Divine Divinity

Amazingly somehow this spawned BG3

The only good thing about this game is that it allowed an existence of BG3. The beginning of the game is kind of ok, despite that combat being too fast and too clunky. I was eager to overlook that and check out the story, but noooooo, you have to do the same stuff over and over again until it just made me uninstall this game after 21 hour of playing. I simply couldn't take it anymore, nail in the coffin was the fact that i had to re-run an already explored dungeon under the merchant town to try to find something the game only mentioned as a way to go lol. BUT there was another alternative which was also find the thieves guild which i vaguely remembered to be mentioned by some forgettable npc god knows where on a huge map. Nah no, too big, too long, too repetitive. Don't even bother checking out where it all started :)
