I played this game in 2021 for the first time in my life and really enjoyed it! This is amazing, but after all these years even graphics look good, which is not common for 3D games. Every mission can be completed in different ways, depending on your game style, but on higher difficulty level brute force usually makes you load the previous save quite fast :) I also liked the fact of limiting the number of available save games on higher difficulty - this really increases the pressure but at the same time doesn't lead to frustration, at least in my case. Also noticed that save games were removed when I restarted the game, so I had to complete every mission during a single gaming session, but since missions are not that long (45min-1h maybe), that's also ok. My only complain is the animation, especially in cutscenes - looks a bit clunky, but that's the only sign on an old game (good old game to be precise ;)). Anyway, great, great game, highly recommend if you like stealth games.
After reading reviews by other players, I was expecting a great and addictive adventure game, maybe with not the most beautiful graphics, but still worth playing... Honestly, I'm disappointed. I gave the game a chance, played for 10-15 hours and then decided that it's just not worth my time. The biggest issue is that it's almost impossible to play this game without a walk-through/solution - and it's not because the puzzles are so difficult; no, it's because they are so unintuitive that you can spend hours walking around all possible locations and clicking all possible items before you find what the authors wanted you to do do move the plot a step further. And some puzzles are just ridiculous, like the one when you dress as Mosley. Or when you get access to the computer system in game, you have to use it to search (like google) for specific words, but there's nothing that suggests what you should search for. It's just really frustrating that you have to constantly guess authors intentions rather that just do something reasonable, so you end up checking the walk-through rather than enjoy the game. The second issue is the graphics - and no, I don't have a problem with oldschool graphics, but in this game 3D models, textures and animation are just so clunky that it's hard to enjoy what you see. I'd prefer to watch well animated 2D graphics than 3D in this form. Finally, the game was constantly freezing in one of locations (museum) every time I entered it. Only way to walk around this problem was to pick an old save-game and play the game again. As for the good parts: Great music and voice acting, I really enjoyed listening to this game more than watching it :) The whole story/plot seems interesting. To summarize: I'd find better way to spend time wasted with this game :)
