Some of the negative reviews are simply making false claims, so let me counter those: - There is a manual for download here on GOG. - Combat can be sped up by pressing Enter. - It is certainly not just a combat RPG, there are many puzzles, storylines, NPC's etc. - Yes, the game doesn't hold your hand, just like the Wizardry series. This is an oldschool RPG. - The game is finished and balanced. It doesn't become “easy“, though you can set your difficulty level. - The bugs have also been removed over the last couple years. There is an extensive collection of tips at grimoire.wiki, for those who do not already know this. Grimoire is for those who enjoy oldschool RPG's. And that it does extremely well.
