This game, itself, is an awsome concept. There are so many great ideas that arent actual features. The daily tavern grind is cool, but as someone else said, the rng is almost useless (120% success chance, but you fail 9/10 times.) and the higher level, the more "wins" you need in a row. Also, you get 10 moves per day, and a ton of them are used up listening to characters repeat to you their "personal stories", which are actually just them saying you could have picked a better name for your tavern. Most of the expansions aren't actually implemented yet. So still no stables or outhouse! Even the "decor", at one point you get a popup telling you to paint your walls - but you cannot actually do it. The quests themselves are stellar the first time. There are a lot of repeat encounters, which are really well written, but no writing stands up to the 10th time you've watched your people bicker over the apple they found, even though you've paid 10 times the gold for travel rations as you're ever going to make. (Not to mention, the hunger is buggy and doesn't really matter because resting does not pass time, and even if you rest when you think its a grand idea, if 2 seconds later there's a rest stop built in, your one party member will be 1/3 starving and all of them will be out of spirit. Every SINGLE time.) And I STILL tried to love it. Even when trying to divide my gear while the skills currently make no sense. Even while dealing with the fact that if you close a game during a multi-day quest, you will have to restart your tavern. Even though 90% of the game controls do nothing. My biggest issue is that steam is on version 1184 and we're on 1177. And i'm not going to pay again for a game that's been in pre-release for multiple years. (the price is great IF the game was getting updated, btw.) It seems the developers forgot GoG. Buyer beware I suppose. Give us the update, I'll give it 3 stars. Finish it, I'll give it 5. as is, i wish i had gotten the refund.
