This game is like Heroes of Might and Magic II-III, except... it's not. What I mean it's that SoC it's not a clone, you have your heroes traveling across a map, collecting artefacts, acquiring mines, fighting enemies, but from graphics to the mechanic - the games is different. Which is good. If you love heroes, but you want to try something new, play Songs of Conquest. If you want to play Heroes... just play Heroes. Works very well on M1 MacBook Air.
Game is great! Old good worms, just more beautiful with some addons. So, game itself: 5/5. But... You can't play online! Just everyone are playing the Steam version, which uses other multiplayer servers. I repeat: you can't play with Steam players , so servers are empty. When I've wanted to play there was literally no one to play with. Team17 totally failed here. I prefer Gog, but in this situation will be waiting for some discount on Steam and here I will use Refund option. :-(
