There's some kind fo story to it, not sure what its exactly about but it involves wizards and stuff and talking to the old guy. This is not exactly a difficult game so it's actually really enjoyable all the way through.
I remembered playing this back when it was released, and despite being initially attracted to its nuke nukem 3D type gameplay and graphics - was put off by its racist caricature. By no means am I politically correct, I get that but this kind of humour is ONLY great if done well and aims to mock those in power/institutions or dated behaviours or norms we should leave behind (like racism). A guy called 'Lo Wang' who is a Japanese ninja? Enough said. That should give you an idea of the infantile humour on display. And to get those with psychotic tendencies interested in this game, our hero quips 'just like Nagasaki/hiroshima' when using a nuclear weapon - because nuclear weapons is funny right?
