Presentation 8/10: Graphics are quite pleasant. Not mind blowing but the art direction conveys the sense of the city and can look beautiful at times. Voice acting is adequate. Music seems barely there, but not intrusive. Story 7/10: Having recently played the original, the story gives the player a good incentive to re-visit the city and get a "what happened after" sort of feeling. The use of focused, small areas, instead of multiple screens, keeps the player focused on the task at hand. Gameplay 7/10: As mentioned under Story, the play areas are smaller and more focused, which to me seems like an improvement over the traditional point-and-click adventure, multi-screen, try everything on everything style of the past. However, the use of invetory does seem limited, and even though the attempted hacking device feels more like a gimmick, it is focused enough to get you along. The only real complaint I have is that the character movement is a bit too slow and clunky. Summary 7/10: A fairly decent adventure game, if a bit on the easy side. Not a must play, but interesting enough if you are a fan of the genre.
