Impressions Games created great city builders, and were legendary developers. Pharaoh is their very best in my opinion. Watching the pyramids being constructed, if you have the patience is an almost Zen-like experience - from how the foundations were (it is thought) made flat by digging channels and filling them with water, then marking the levels before draining - to the awesome pyramid construction work using hundreds of people to drag the stone to the site. It is all there. Still not sure if I've seen a citybuilder do anything better . . .
