I never actually got to play the game because of EULA shenanigans. The games splash screen is immediately followed by a prompt to accept the EULA. EULA says I'm licensing the game and don't own my copy. EULA also says don't download if you disagree, despite EULA not being disclosed prior to install. No thank you. I've opted out of better games because of EULA license language this title will not be missed.

Let it be said straight away that I didn't find anything particularly noteworthy in Wolcen. Let it also be said I don't understand what my peers in the gaming community see in this game. Wolcen is a pretty game with decent customization options but the positives seem to stop there. While i understand this is an In development game I found it to be a hollow direction less experience. In the two hours I spent with the game my quest experience consisted of wandering about exploring the world or hunting down ruins or rivers. The river location quest was comical in that reaching my objective failed to complete the quest. This quest did not complete until I collected roots from the river in the desired quantity. Wolcen may develop into a desirable game at some point but as it stands now I see little reason to play it instead of Titan Quest, Diablo, Pillars of Eternity or Tyranny.
