Heroes of Might and Magic® 2: Gold

Very Satisfied

I read a few negative reviews about this game, such as heroes' movements on the map is not smooth and music qualities of GOG version are not good. I'm worried before purchasing, because I think the artstyle and music of HoMM2 are the most important points in this game. Fortunately, it has been proved that it was unnecessary. The movement of heroes is same as what it was on Win95 system at that time, and even though the ogg files are not CD qualities, you can download lossless FLAC files via GOG Galaxy and it's literally flawless in my opinion. If you change the flac files to ogg files, and rename and replace it with existed ogg files, you can hear close CD qualities of music in the game. I have legit CDs of The Succession Wars and GOLD version of this game, but it's worthy of purchasing this game on GOG again.

Mortal Kombat 1

You should change the cycles.

If your game controller's directional button or analog stick drifts, you should change cycles=19000 for MK1 and MK2, and cycles=30000 for MK3 in this game's dosbox configuration file. Following is each configure file's name, which is in the game's folder. MK1: dosboxMortalKombat.conf MK2: dosboxMortalKombat2.conf MK3: dosboxMortalKombat3.conf I also recommend following changes for each 3 games, but it's your choice. fullscreen=false output=opengl aspect=true scaler=normal3x
