I'd hesitate to call it an RPG - you're somewhat pigeonholed into being V, and it's difficult to really roleplay. The story is also very linear, and there's not much illusion of choice. At best, there are RPG Whatever it is, I enjoy it. Versions 1.6 and 2.0 both have fun growth systems (I prefer 2.0), the core gameplay loop is reasonably fun, and the story is engaging. This is also the most compelling cyberpunk world I've seen (though I haven't seen many).
