First of all thanks to the GOG support team in being so prompt in fixing my issue with the game not launching at first. Kudos. Pros 1. Game is not the best but it was good enough to keep me engaged for about a 100 hours. 2. It is an older game. I personally think that it holds up just fine graphically. I liked the art style as well. 3. It runs on my toaster laptop so that is very cool. 4. There is lots of customization options and lots of strategies you can use in battle. Most of which seems viable. This made it really fun. 5. If you are a person who like to analyze and optimize gear you would like this game. 6. The story is alright not too bad not too good. 7. The amount of content in the first three quarters of the game is also quite good. Cons 1. The last few hours or the last quarter of the game is a stretch. It feels like it has been artificially inflated by the devs to make it seem like there is more content in the late game than there actually is. 2. I really hated the door which did not let you progress unless you collected all the star stones. For the most part of my gameplay I just ignored the stones. There was no indication that the "Inert Stone" will be necessary for progression. This was the first time I had to pull out you tube videos and the wiki because there is not other way to progress otherwise. That door itself is a very good reason to drop this game. 3. The requirement to complete almost all quests in the game to hit level 20 and go for the final confrontation is again a way to pad out the game more. There was some content I just did not want to bother with. But I was forced to anyway. Summary: It is a nice game with good customization options. People who like to optimize gear and stats will enjoy this. There are some attempts to pad out content and game play. However, I think the game is good enough to warrant looking into other games that are similar.
