the first game is a gem(especially when it came out) that makes you feel like a mobster. you have many period correct cars and a outstanding story. the controls are not the greatest but a lot of other games from when this was released weren't that great either the second game had it's fun moments but feels incomplete with some of the story lines. it didn't have the same feel as the first game story wise and when it started to get good where you were starting to feel more like a mobster digging his way out of trouble and less like some dumb smuck who is just getting used the game is over. the controls are a lot more fluid for this game although there was a few physics bugs iirc. the third game started off decent. but, once you get pass the initial chapter(bank heist which you are betrayed), the game degenerates into what feels like a woke "White male baaaad, black guy good" where you literally do a rinse and repeat of 3 mission types what feels like a billion times. you have the rescue the girls from the "bad white guy trying to have his way with them" which you are rewarded with having your way with them, you have the eliminate all the "bad white guys because they be smuggling in drugs, guns, etc" which you are rewarded with you guessed it guns, drugs, etc. third type is basically recruit gang members..... to push the "bad white man from a area". the game last i played it was also loaded with huge empty areas and game breaking glitches. if "whitey must pay" is the type of game play you want to spend hours on then this game might be for you
