I saw a sale ad on Pathfinder: Kingmaker and thought hey why not. I like the genre of game but have been sorely disappointed by so many others. Maybe this will be a hit. I can tell you, if you're on the fence, and remember playing Baldur's Gate and miss it, absolutely give this game a shot. I'm not sure I'm going to buy the Mytic edition but I'm close. I never thought that I would enjoy the empire building part of the game, and when it switched into that mode I was really lost - but I like that also. It doesn't turn off the 'adventure' part of the game, it's still there - it adds to it. I'm not knowledgable enough to go into fine pointed critique, but what I can say is the game is thoroughly enjoyable to a guy that grew up with Wizardry, Zork, Ultima as a kid back when dinosaurs roamed the earth. I loved Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale and many others. Pathfinder is good, really good. Don't miss out.
