The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition

fifth time's a charm

Bought it for the fifth time, this time drm free. Would do it for the sixth time if they added oldrim too. I completed all the creation club 'mods' and they really stick out the wrong way and break balance between the real quests and rewards. They should also add the older version install file without CC.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition

Best Game of All Time

What the title of the review says. No game before and since made me just look at the world inside in such awe. The color palette is perfect across all lands. Toussaint being so colorful and saturated perfectly resembles its climate and people as well as Skellige's cold harsh stormy nature and its warriors. And also the music... Feels like it's a part of the world and just blends with the trees and grass. That's the first part of the game that touched me. Other is the stories. Main quest line is amazing and really made me care about the events and the characters but that's just the beginning. I was disappointed after finishing the main quest that the best part of the game is past me. I was very wrong. Side quests and especially the dlcs are just pieces of art. No other game comes close. The most important thing about all of them is the authenticity. People talk to you and react to what you say like it's real life. No other game seems to give the conversation between you and npcs proper attetion so there you really notice. The progression and hunting for the best items is also something I very much enjoyed. There are many options and it's not like there's only one build that is much better than the others. And my last point: GWENT Just a game inside the game that gives you tens of hours of joy with collecting all cards and becoming the champion. Even bought the real life version of it and play with my friends from time to time. If you like rpg games buy it. If you don't like games rpg still buy it.

Cyberpunk 2077

Beautiful but needs a lot of work

Completed the main story line along a few side quest lines and they are truly amazing and touching. The story telling is top notch and the world is very pretty. Progression is great and I love how vast it is. 5 skill types all with 2 or 3 their skill related perk trees divided into even more specific skills. I get stable 30 fps with high preset and dynamic res allowed to drop to 80% with target 50. Using a gtx 1060, 16 gb ram and i7 6700k so it sure is demanding but you probably already know that. The game is flooded with small bugs that are not game breaking but surely immersion breaking. Lots of t-posing, broken ai not shooting back, people walking in the air, textures not loading on time (even though I'm on ssd) and even landing on a rooftop of some nearby house when exiting a car. It feels like an unfinished project but this may just be the most ambitious game of all time so I can understand as long as everything gets fixed in the following year. Leaving 4 stars because of the bugs but when they're gone it definitely deserves 5 out of 5.
