Hollow Knight: Silksong

Provisionally, I like it

It's gonna be short because I'm still playing it. I'm a big fan of the original Hollow Knight and, for the moment, I'm having a lot of fun with Silksong. Art design, character design, platforming and fighting gameplay, music, absolutelly awesome (as it is in HK). Hornet is charming as always, a bit more talkative than our quiet knight, which lets us get to know her a bit better. The only "but", if you will, is the steep difficulty because several monsters hit really hard just in the first few hours while we can't still upgrade pretty much anything and the first platforming sequences start soon. But I'd say I like it this way better than the other way around. Hollow Knight (base content, "bad" anding, no hidden or special bosses) even felt somewhat easy. I like to coinsider Silksong a continuation to HK. For the moment, I think it will prove to be an awesome sequel/spin-off.

Hollow Knight

Absolutely Radiant

Its only flaw, it doesn't last 200 hours.

Prey

Amazing sci-fi first person game

Very interesting sci-fi action/rpg/survival game with light stealth and shooter mechanics, tons of exploration features, awsome environments and metroidvania style backtracking. Your time will literally fly away as you explore, fight, get new gadgets, upgrades and skills to go through the Talos I and unravel its secrets (tons of them). The typical game that you enjoy more and more the more you play and try. You can play as you want, facing its threats using strength or strategy, using a gas tank to blow an enemy, freezing and smashing them with a wrench or luring them into a trap. You can open a safe finding a clue and guessing its code or hacking it. You can go through an obstacle jumping it, moving a crate with brute strength, using a hidden maintenance passage or disintegrating it with a hi-tech molecular gadget. Everything in this game has more than one way to accomplish it. Its biggest issue; it could have had better fighting mechanics to be absolutely awsome. Can be too slow-paced if you are looking for an action packed shooting game. I'm playing it on Steam. However, you can get it here DRM-free and scandalously cheap right now. Very good performance even with the crappy Denuvo system on Steam.
