I used to play and love the classic FTL, it was hard but fair. This Advanced Edition (sequel?) would be okish if I did not know where it came from. It is not only hard, but extremely unfair. You are faced with random, non calibrated enemies (or worse, text events!) that can wipe you out in the blink of an eye. On top of this, no save available, not even as an option, so the learning curve is veeery steep and, frankly, not worth it. I payed 10 € for this and would not recommend buying it, not even on sale. Unless frustration and ragequitting are your thing, of course, which this game has aplenty.
