Look, I'm a fan of games like these. It has replay galore, but the fact that I can finish Beginner in 2 hours puts several marks against this game. The tactical squad based game play is quite good. Limited character building options are nice. In a way it plays like FTL, in such that it's meant to be short. It has unlocks, customizable difficulty and so forth. [SPOILERISH]However, for me, it pulled the ultimate slap-in-the-face "we're going to have a sequel" ending and was just too short. I could see myself playing it for another 5-10 hours and that's being generous. I feel the correct pricing would be $10, I bought 10% off at $18.
