A bit less insanity than in the first one, but still a very good story. Gameplay is mostly the same, which is good. Certain sections could use an extra save point, and I wish the camera wasn't trying to auto-rotate towards what I'm "supposed" to look at, but otherwise no issues. Also it works great on Linux via Proton (Lutris) and with a controller.
Simply put: I had fun. The game is not terribly difficult but at the same time there is enough variety to the gameplay to keep it interesting even when it gets repetitive. And there are also very detailed difficulty settings that you can change mid-game. I'm not w40k lore expert but everything seemed authentic. The game obviously favors visuals and sound but it's good they didn't skimp on technical quality - it's all nicely put together and runs well.
