My personal favourite of the whole Fallout series, Fallout 2 is one of the best computer role-playing games ever created. A must-play for anyone, really.
The first of the Fallout series, this game has truly stood up to the test of time. A roleplaying game with massive depth, endless variety and a gripping storyline. I recommend it wholeheartedly.
A classic story of evil shenanigans occuring on Halloween, and kids saving the day, storywise the game is on solid footing. Sadly, the playability suffers from the game being an obvious port from console systems. Controls, graphics and camera angles are not up to par. I would have expected more from the often glorified Double Fine Studios.
Whilst nothing about this game is specifically novel or original, it definitely fills all the genre requirements of a casual tower defense game. I happily spent a week clicking away for hours each day, even though I'm not a big fan of the genre. The colourful and whimsical style of the game is supported by a lighthearted, though slightly bland fantasy storyline. Definitely worth a playthrough, solid content and playability.
