Gone Home

Less content than free Half Live maps

This is a walking simulator where you walk though a house looking for notes to uncover a very basic story. I have seen free Half Live maps with more content. I have no clue how this is a game nor how people are chargign you money for it.

Metro Exodus

Metro tries being STALKER and fails hard

Personally a big Fan of the original Metro, a bit meh on Metro Last Light, not a fan of this. While like the idea of the open world, it does not work as the ressources you spend exploring are bigger than the gaisn you possibly can have. Gun mechanics have been dumbed down, you cannot straife left or right, enemies will spray you for minutes with bullets but only rewards like 4 if at all when looted. Also, apparenlty enemies are all elite sharp shooters who can full auto hit you on great distance while you try to carfully hit them back. Add to that the terrain that is immensly detailed (which is good) but which also means you will get stuck on everything. Also, while not a big issue in the main game, the DLCs (especially Sams Story) is plastered with invisiable walls further punishing exploration. Last but not least, the karma system is redicilous. I have no idea who thought its a good idea to punish you for shooting at people who unprovoked opened fire at you while you approached with a holstered gun. Add some randoms stuff that you need to know in advance from guides which you have to do or else BAD ENDING! Yeah, no, was not worth the buy for me.

ELEX

Wasted potential

The game starts out promising in the first chapter but once you join a faction it goes all down hill. The story makes less and less sense, the cold system get in the way more and more (even if you are not taking any elex potions and just pick dialog optiosn which make sense to you youmight end up cornered in the last chapter). It is such a shame, this game had a great promise (mind you alsoa tone of the usual PB problems) but th elonger you play the shorter it falls. Get Witcher 3 for the price instead.

Shadow Warrior 2

Expected Shadow Warrior?Too bad for you!

Hello, was really looking forward to this game as I really liked Shadow Warrior 1 and hence preordered. Unfortunately, this game is nothing like Shadow Warrior 1. Instead of the Corridor Shooter we had, we now have a pointless open world system which is strung together by jump cuts which bring me right out of the emersion every time they happen. It also has a very bad and pointless lotting system (WHHHYYY DOES WANG NOT AUTOPICKUP STUFF! So much useless bussywork!). So you are moving around very fast during combat (they basically trippled your mobility during fights) just to run around afterwards opening boxes and then to click 10x E to pick up all the stuff basically slowing the game down tremendiously. The weapons do not really feel that powerful as in SW1 for some reason (maybe because you directly start with very bullet spongy enemies while in SW1 you also had weak enemies to slice and dice as you move through the level) Maybe I can describe it this way. Instead of building on Shadow Warrior 1, this game feels more like they started with an empty box and then through ideas and game mechanics from different games into it. So it feels like a Frankenstein creation from Borderlands + Hard Reset + Dead Island but not really like Shadow Warrior 1 or a game consistent with itself for that matter. I got about 1h into the game before I just had to quit but in that hour, there is not really much of a story line. The world is basically overun by monsters and demons but nobody cares besides battling raciscm towards demons apparently. We are still doing jobs for the mob and everyone treats us like shit (WHY?? Aren't we like the most powerful being on this planet?) Yeah, so huge disapointment for me, cannot recommend it at all. Maybe some of this issues can be fixed in the future but most of it (story *winkwink*) cannot.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number

Disappointed

I really liked Hotline Miami but its sequel? Well, it is extremely flawed. 1. The design is very different. While in HM1, I barely needed the shift key, now I basically have to go threw the level with it pressed because you will killed from of the screen instantly. 2. In HM1, you often were planning out your melee attacks to succeed. Here, you are jsut looking for a gun because most rooms are just to big to cover it with melee attacks 3. Controlls. In HM1, I never had any problems with doors, lining shoots etc. Here, it is a different story. Controls to be very imprecise, your movement feels sluggish. And you would need way better controls as you are most of the time using the shift key. 4. Bugs. Enemies get constantly stuck in doors spinning like crazzie, guns fly out of the level so you cannot reach it etc. Really disappointing

Signal Ops

Buuuugggggyyyyyyyy

Bought the game as it had a lot of good reviews and locked very promising. Unfortunately I cannot leave the first room even with the newest patch and reading for half an hour about how to open a door. If this was a new release, hey, bugs happen, but it is out for half a year and still unplayable buggy.

Hotline Miami

Soooo much buuuugssss

Is it fun to you to repeat the same level over and over again to final succeed but one enemy was punched outside the level? Or the doors do just not open for some reason. Then this is a game for you. They seriously have to fix this technical problems (clipping, unskippable intro, screen tearing, LOADING time???) to even call this a game. And maybe stop making me nauseas because who doesn't like unreadable text.
