Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2

Cost-effective entertainment

This game is a dramatic improvement over the first game in the Ghost Warrior series. While the first game was very short, this one is much closer to what I consider to be a full-length game. As one might expect, with more time to develop it, the story is much more elaborate and includes a flashback to an earlier mission in a different setting. The more varied environments is another thing that is a welcome improvement over the never-ending jungles of the first game. I highly recommend the Gold Edition because the Serbian Strike expansion is superb. It offers yet another type of environment and the map design and game play is better than any found in the main game. If you liked the first Ghost Warrior, you will love the second one. It's important, however, to keep in mind that this is not a big-budget game like those in the Call of Duty franchise. It also doesn't have a CoD-sized price tag. In my opinion, Ghost Warrior 2 is some pretty cost-effective entertainment. I definitely plan to check out Ghost Warrior 3 in the hope that the trend of improvement will continue.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior

Certainly worth what I paid

I bought this game on sale and I feel like I got a great deal. The game lacks the polish of the big budget CoD games. It's also a very short game - about 5 or 6 hours to play through it. However, I enjoyed it nonetheless and, considering how little I paid for it, I would say I got my money's worth. The voice acting is pretty good and the map design decent. I liked it enough that I'll probably have a look at the games that followed it in the Sniper series.
