I tried but I just hated the gameplay so much I gave up.

You'll want to check out the remade games instead, unless you have retro curiosity.

I much prefer Skyrim, but it was still an interesting game to go through at least for the lore and mods. The content has too much repetitive filler. If we thought Skyrim was unstable when modded, Oblivion is a house of cards... This version at least, I didn't try the remaster.

This is first and foremost a platformer. It was quite fun initially, but I grew weary of some design choices and didn't aim for full completion. It made me learn that I heavily dislike light press jumps, especially with so much instant death, A suggestion that could have helped a lot would've been to not have instant death hazards, and just make them deal 1 health like normal with room respawn, it's not like you have much health to begin with. The bosses were pretty neat and fairly challenging. I liked the zelda 1-2 dungeon vibes. On paper, the game had everything for me to love, but things just didn't click fully.

I needed mods to make it bearable to play, that way it was better and I could enjoy the world. It still required effort but at least it was interesting.

Surprisingly different from the standard TES formula, feels closer to old 3d adventure games.
