I love the game setting and it's a wonderful world but the game is crashing way too often to be enjoyable. Since it's not possible to quicksave any time you want, this means that you have to keep clearing places several times over and over again while hoping that the game won't crash before you make it to a campfire to save the game or a rare autosave triggers.
This game has one of the most immersive atmospheres af all FPS games. The background story is very mystical. Sadly, some bugs still exist but no game-breakers. If you like games, where you are guided from one horror-shock to another, but sometimes enjoy a nice puzzle- buy this one. But only, if you have the horsepower in your PC.
I´ve tried several times to play this game. Every time it was too boring. I´d prefer Thief, if you want to have some stealth action.
This is probably my all-time-favourite game in my 15 years playing PC games. It has a great plot, a very nice 3d graphic and the best music I´ve ever heard in a computer game, not even The Elder Scrolls or Guild Wars are anywhere near this quality. Now what kind of gamer will like this game? Really, I have no idea. But if you liked Vampire:Bloodlines, Arcanum, Fallout, Bioshock, Cryostasis (like I did), than you will enjoy this game too.
This is one of the best RPGs I´ve ever played. One of the greatest joys is that you actually can be a really good mage in this game and still having fun- compared to the TES series this is a serious advantage.
