Quick review: NWN is a good game technically, but differs from past bioware / black isle D&D games in that you don't have a party, it's just you and an underling you hire, who also never levels up. This diamond edition is a good deal and you'll have fun playing this. just look for mods to improve the game play a bit. Verdict: Buy on sale, or if you really like D&D games then buy it full price. Extra: There are mods that make some very good game play changes that i feel are needed. they increase follower count from one to 4. causes them to level up when you do and transition between the modules with you.
Quick Review: Building off of the first game both technically and story wise. An even better experience then the original BG. You can export your character to use in other black isle / bioware D&D games or import your character from them. Verdict: Buy, now. Sale or no. Extra: if you get this game and the original you can play the original baldur's gate in this one's engine with some easy to use mods. makes for one huge game.
