I loved Hollow Knight and was hoping for a similar experience. Silksong has improved in graphics but in everything else it fails to surpass it's predecessor. Silksong is a long frustrating game that seems to be designed to be that way for no good reason. Music and exploration do not feel as magical as they did in the original Hollow Knight. When finished Silksong felt like a cumbersome chore I had finally finished, while the original left a satisfying longing for more.
IMO one of the best games of all time
