Reminds me of the early flash game, and it feels 2005 humorous, it's charming, and it's good. Albeit, sometimes, it gets unreasonably difficult
I never played any of Larian Studio's games, nor any other similar game, I am usually not a big fan of top down strategy/rpg games, yet, I bought this, not long after launch, at full price, and I clocked in 150 hours in 1 month. My poor laptop could barely run this, yet, with everything on low, and the copium of frame generation, I finished the story. I really like the level of customization, it felt somewhat curated, but not too limiting. The spells, the story, the level of detail, all excellently executed, every playthrough would present you with different possibilities to finish the story, which is very long, and the fact that you can even play this multiplayer, as long as you share the same game version, wonderful, magnificent! I wholeheartedly recommend this!
I bought this game on an instict, and to be fair, my first impression was "This is too floaty", but as I picked it up again, I realized that Actually, being floaty meant you had a lot of opportunities to move and zoom. I played this mostly on the steam deck, with no issues. Overall, very solid moveset and great story, seems somewhat like a kids game, but don't be fooled, there's a lot going on, and I'd say it's worth picking it up at any price you can get it!
I've been playing this on and off, on multiple devices, under multiple circumstances, it's a great game, and I love it so much, I got all the other DLCs. Overall I wholeheartedly recommend this
