This is one, or perhaps the best and true RPG ever made, an instant classic in my opinion. The storyline just sucked you in. The characters were something to laugh and cry at. This game has humor, sorrow and everything in between. I know you are able to have up to 5 more companions to join you (6 in total) in the 1st game, but can’t remember if the 2nd game you were able to get 6 companions or it limited you to just 4 players in total? I'll have to see once I finish the 1st and start playing the 2nd. You were also able to import your saved character to the 2nd game as well. I got this game more or less when it came out and I'm still able to play in on Windows 7 with no problems so far. This is when games were made with its hard copy manuals. I still have the maps, quick reference card for the spells and, the manual booklet that it came with. The 2nd game manual had a thick spiral binder backing which I also have. You have to give it to the makers of this game because when they made the 1st game it was the best but when they made the 2nd game it was the greatest! If you truly are an RPG player, then I believe you will appreciate this game. By today’s standards the graphic may not be up to par to some but this game was not intended to be a glossy type graphic but in its deep storyline and the ambiance, sound effects and some of its eerie music. But I still enjoy the graphics which too me doesn't look bad at all. It still holds up in my opinion.
If my memory serves me right, I believe this game was called "Out of this World" back in the early 90's.I remember playing this game on my Amiga....OMG its been soooo long and yes this was one of my favorite games and at the time, the graphics was so cool....an oldie but goodie in my opinion
