GRIS

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine

Actionpacked Shooter

This shooter does the Warhammer franchise proud and has lost none of its appeal. It is gripping and gory, but at times also somewhat nauseating.

Lamentum

Nox™

Broken on Windows 11

It´s a great game in my menory, but the current version does not work on my system (Windows 11). It crashes right after the intro. I tried to patch it, then it crashed 5 minutes into the game.

Children of Morta

Beautiful ARPG with lots of heart

Quick, snappy combat, beautiful art, and a backstory full of heart—it's lovely, and everything is done very well. The only issue I have is the odd progression system: Trying and dying frequently is a strange way to advance your characters. I appreciate that new playable characters are introduced as the story progresses, but each one starts at level 0 and has to be leveled up tediously.

A hidden gem

If you're into strategic trading simulations, it doesn't get any better than this. However, if you are new to the series you might find it very demanding to fget started and figrue out all your options.

Olija

Charming an stylish action platformer

A stylish action platformer with an emotional core. The rough pixel graphics might not appeal to everyone, but they possess a certain lightness that is hard to describe. I agree with the praise from other reviewers and would also like to highlight the excellent soundtrack!

Veil of Darkness

A fine adventure and gothic horror tale

Ah, the good old days. This game is a tribute to all the classic horror movies and tales out there, featuring vampires, werewolves, ghosts, and zombies galore. The adventure part is solid, though it can be frustrating at times, it is never unfair. If your stuck completely, there is a hint-book available... The combat isn’t great, but it can mostly be avoided by running past common monsters or adjusting the settings accordingly. The hand-drawn cutscenes look awesome, and while the in-game graphics have aged, they are still acceptable.

The Settlers® 2: 10th Anniversary

Complex and quite addictive

The settlers is not a simulation, but the economics are complex but fun way. Easy enough to learn but hard to master. It takes some understand how the game works and the campaign provides a decent learning curve. I found the game to be quite addictive and challenging, while some may find the mechanics a bit outdated and unintuitive. The graphics have held up very well. Overall the game is great, give it a try if you´re into this type of games.

Just beautiful

This a beautiful audiovisual experience, but also much more than that. There is an actual vision an intent behind als the stunning art and visuals, the amazing music and perfect sound. It´s not just well crafted, which it is, it is a wholesome piece of art. It provides wonder an mystery and has a story that is told without a single word spoken. Don´t expect a regular game which you have to beat, but a wonderful presentation in which you can literally dive in and enjoy. An amazing achievement.
