Great presentation, story, voice acting, and exploration. Decent graphics and music. The gameplay and combat unfortunately become far too tedious over time (by end of Act II I was absolutely sick of it). I think this is because of 5e. Combat was the highlight of DOS2, so it's not like Larian doesn't know how to make fun and strategic combat. But the battles in BG3 are repetitive, drawn out, and horribly balanced. They mostly feel far too easy, but then the few battles that are hard feel frustrating instead of challenging. Too much dependence on RNG. The puzzles, traps, and excess of useless and boring items become a chore after a while. It doesn't feel that exciting to get new gear because it doesn't help much, is pretty rare, and is surrounded by garbage loot that makes looting a chore. 5e is also just way too simple and limiting, not to mention a level cap of 12. NWN2's 3.5e character building options were far better. If you care more about story and dialogue you will likely love this game. But if you're like me and engaging gameplay is the absolute most important thing, it might not keep your attention through the end. I quit in Act 3.
The OST doesn't even have 70% of the music in the game. Most of the songs are not very good, with the exception of a few of them. The best music in the game isn't even in the $10 OST. Everything else is useless, just bought it for the OST but even that is not a good deal.
