The Legend of Kyrandia: Malcolm's Revenge (Book Three)

Malcolm's revenge in several ways

I only played Hand of Fate back in the day and have now completed the trilogy with this one. I loved it even though it, at times, is quite unforgiving (more than usual I reckon). It's got great characters, comedy and overall story. The 3D and then-modern music is a bit tiresome at today's standards but I still appreciate the "tech leap" made. In comparison with the others it's great but perhaps not quite as enjoyable. It's got high replayability though, because of all the different opportunities (which can also be a bit confusing when you don't have a clue and a limited inventory). As long as you save frequently and got a lot of time to play you're bound to enjoy the ride! Even though I enjoyed the first two installments a bit more I still give it 5/5 as it's a great game and closer to the trilogy.

The Legend of Kyrandia (Book One)

A wonderful game of the era

I never got to play this trilogy back in the day, I only got my hands on the sequel Hand of Fate. I remember that game fondly and figured I'd start with this one. Now that I've completed it I must say it was a really good experience, at times frustating as it should but mostly just plain entertaining. Good story and acting, great music and general atmosphere. Highly recommended for fans of the genre. I can't wait to continue with Hand of Fate!
