Well I liked the first and second was pretty good. So finally got the 3rd for £2.59 and its ok and the graphics are a little imporved but its not as fun as say Quake1 which came out 14 years earlier. I suspect its due to the 'Consolification' of the game with a weird cover system thats not needed and clunky. Oh well didnt spend much on it thank goodness. PS Dam shame is just Single player :(
Had a blast with this game and pleased to see it supports LAN multiplayer as well. From an era where LAN play was still a thing :D The game is not like much else out there so I sugest you watch a video of the game play and it it appeals take the plunge.
I tried this shortly after release but got fed up with the Ubisoft onlnie nonsense. Purchased this hoping the removal of it made it slicker. Nope, The game is definately a console game and the PC version is a bloated mess that runs like treacle on a i7 with 16G of ram. Going to request a refund as it does not play smoothly at all on m system
The original is DRM free and supports hundreds of mods and can be played on LAN and has low system requirements. If you havent already got it, im sure you can get it from ebay. This new enhanced version is a remake tied to a Bethesda account (DRM) has pop ups and allows you to play online with other Bethesda account users. It has much higher system requirements (most likely related to the Bethesda account features). I would pick the former.
