Looks good and plays smoothly. The levels are rather linear but serve their purpose and the game is not that long but its a neat casual shooter game. Note, this version comes with alot of the DLC skins which you can stare at in the menu but wont see whilst playing due to First person perspective.
One of the first 'next gen' Unreal engine based games and it has its own charm and includes an interesting game mechanic, astral projection type power to help navigate you through the haunted building. Not sure how the PC port holds up & would not buy it for full price either.
Another game doing the Assasins Creed, you plug yourself into a machine and enter another world, bonus you get to have the G-man watching you. Technically well executed but its a press E to pickup and continue the story type game. Unoriginal main character that I switched off within 3 minutes.
Glad I bought it in sale as the game forces you through a 15min set of cut scenes that are not skip-able and attempt to emote the player with an anti-racist plot and a backstory of white man parent cruelty. Whilst that makes sense in a story, Wolfenstein is the last place that needs or wants a plot!!! Once you wake up in a wheel chair which can roll through submarine door hatches!! (they dont have wheel chairs in subs) Then shooting begins and its good. Technically it looks and feels solid. Just wish the software team stuck emotions into a game that requires them.
